Life wasn’t meant to be lived alone. At Cornerstone we want to help you build healthy friendships that encourage your faith. There are a variety of ways to CONNECT with others at Cornerstone.
At Cornerstone Church, we believe that people grow better in circles than they do in rows. Life groups are a great way to grow deeper in your faith with those you enjoy being around. If you’d like more information about joining a small group, please contact the church office.
We offer other small groups centered around specific interests and activities. These groups are designed to give the people who call Cornerstone their “church home” an opportunity to connect with others, making our big church feel small. These groups meet monthly at various locations throughout the River Bend area. Some of our groups meet in homes and others meet at the church. Some of these groups are seasonal, but you can check our Events page to see which groups are meeting and when.
Moms’ Coffee Club meets once a month for coffee at someone’s home. Any moms who have kids between the ages of 0-18 are welcome to attend.
The Senior Adults is a group for both men and women, single or married, who are 50 years old and up. They meet once a month, sometimes at the Bethalto campus, sometimes at an off-site location.
Creative Corner is for people who want to try new creative outlets. It is open to anyone 13 years or older. Some of the previous projects have included cake decorating, crocheting, painting, and how to make you own laundry soap. It meets twice a quarter at our Bethalto campus.
The Quilting Group is for people who enjoying quilting or would like to learn how to quilt. They meet every Tuesday at 10 am at the Bethalto campus.
