Tell Your Story

Tell Your Story

One of the most important things for Christians to do is to share their faith with those who don’t believe. It’s important to share the truth and power of Jesus with others who haven’t had a relationship with Him.
But it’s also important to tell your story within the family of God. Why? Because that’s other those who come after you will learn to trust in God. Why are so many stories of God’s faithfulness and power recorded in the Bible? So that we can learn from that God will provide, miraculously, for His people and for His name’s sake. Your story does the same thing for people in your church, small group, circle of friends, and/or family.

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
They tell of the power of your awesome works—
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
They celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
Psalm 145:3-7

Share you stories of deliverance, your stories of provision, your stories of experiencing His love and presence. Give God the praise and honor He’s due by telling others what He’s done for you. Give others something to meditate on, something to celebrate.
