Creating and Accomplishing Your New Year's Resolutions

Creating and Accomplishing Your New Year's Resolutions

It’s February. The ground hog has come and gone, and statistically, you’ve probably already given up on your New Year’s Resolutions. Ever wondered why?
For the past few weeks, I’ve been teaching a class on Wednesdays about how to create and accomplish our New Year’s resolutions. In the first we of the class, we answered the question I asked you at the start of this post: Why do our resolutions fail? In the second week, we looked at how to correct this with some very practical ideas. (And if you’d like, the audio and notes from the first two weeks of the class have been uploaded here. Since the third and fourth weeks of the class are going to focus less on teaching than on sharing, we won’t be uploading any audio.)
As part of the class, I’ve been sharing a variety of resources that have helped me down this road, and so I thought I’d share them with you. So, below is a list of books, notebooks, and other resources that just might help you get ahead this year.

Notebooks & Note-Taking Methods

Part of our class covered the idea that if are going to move forward we need to be keeping some record of our progress and our missteps. We have to know where we’ve been and what worked/didn’t work so that we can better know where we’re going and what are the best methods to get us there. – Buy your own customized planner. – Buy an Volt Planner, plus they have a regularly updated blog on how to bring order to your life. – A unique system for journaling and tracking your goals and daily living.
