Just As I Am

Jesus knows us as we are, where we are, and what we have done. There’s no point in hiding, and that is why He doesn’t call us to clean ourselves up before we come to Him. He simply calls us to come, just as we are. He will do all the cleaning that is needed in His timing and in His ways, if we will only come to Him.

Avoiding the Plague Like The Plague

While in the wilderness, the Israelites made an idol of gold shaped like a calf. Perhaps you’ve heard the story? Did you realize that this event took place right after the Israelites saw God descend in power and might? How could they have been so close to God and then turn away so quickly? How can we better avoid sin and the consequences it brings? That’s what we’ll be looking at in today’s message. This is a sermon from Cornerstone Church in Bethalto, IL. Simple | Week 3 – Man

We were made in the image of God but chose our own way. Jesus was sent to be our new “Way,” to redeem us and restore the image of God within us.
