Prodigal God 5

In Luke 15, Jesus tells the story of a father with two sons. When we read this story or hear it preached, we often focus on the younger, “prodigal” son. However, in doing this, we miss some of the most radical and freeing truth contained in the Gospel.
The Parable of the Two Sons is missing something: a True Elder Brother, someone who searches for the lost. That’s who Jesus is to us, and that is the part we are to play for so many others.
