As we do every year, tonight we sat down and answered questions submitted by you and, this time, even by our youth. We hope that these answers are useful to you in your faith journey.
Included below are some of the questions we did our best to answer.
When Jesus went down before He rose, did anyone come up and follow Him? Do you know why Jesus went down? Did He speak?
How old where Adam and Eve when they were created?
Why is being baptized in the Holy Spirit a qualification for being a deacon?
How did they get all animals on the ark, and keep them from eating each other?
I know that God doesn’t change, but why has his way of disciplining changed from Old Testament to New?
I recently read the book of Job and when I got to the part where God is challenging Job God describes a Leviathan which sounds to me like a dragon-like creature. I looked it up on the Internet to find out the different opinions on this passage of scripture. What do you think? Is God talking about an actual prehistory creature that he created, or is it just a big crocodile, or is He just using it as symbolism. . . or other. . . (Job 41:1-34)
What should one consider when reading the Bible or praying?
How should I handle it when my friend says things about God and the Bible that isn’t right?
How would you define, in simple terms, salvation, redemption, and grace?
Is it ok to have doubts about God?
How do you tell someone about Christ?
What are the steps to tack to finding your identity in Christ instead of the world?
Why has the church changed?
